Today announced Åsa Romson (MP) and Sven-Erik Bucht (S) among other things, that a permanent wolf Committee shall be established, that the wolf favorable conservation status should be investigated scientifically and that funding for wildlife protection should be increased.

“The overall objective of the government's predatory policies is that wolves and other predators should have called a favorable conservation status – while domestic stance not significantly more difficult and socioeconomic into account”, they write.
The new measures are presented in an article in the Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet and the target is said to be "getting a policy that protects both man and beast" and that "Sweden will have a long-term viable wolf population" while "domestic stance not significantly more difficult and socioeconomic into account".
To achieve this, the following is proposed action:
1. A wolf committee to "be a reference to the government for the development of a sustainable national wolf policy".
