Introductory provisions of the Hunting Act
1 § This law applies to wildlife management, right to hunt and hunting operation within Swedish territory and matters related thereto. The law also applies in those cases specifically 1. within the Swedish EEZ, 2. regarding hunting from Swedish ships on the high seas outside the EEZ, 3. regarding hunting from Swedish aircraft over the high seas outside the EEZ. In addition to the provisions of this Act concerning the regulations in the regulations regarding the protection and management of wildlife. Provisions requiring permits for certain activities and actions are in 7 get. 28 a–29 b §§ Environmental Code. Team (2001:443).
2 § With the game in the Act of wild mammals and birds. Hunting means to capture or kill wildlife, and for such purpose search, track or harassing wildlife. The hunt is also counted to engage in the wild nests and taking or destroying birds' eggs.

3 § The game is the inviolability and may be hunted only if prescribed by this Act or by regulations or decisions that have been issued under the Act. When the game is the inviolability, in peace-no also its eggs and nests. This is also true in the Swedish EEZ. Team (1994:1820)

Red deer – throughout the country except in Skåne County In the management area antlers 16 aug-31 jan. Only årskalv allowed. The 16 aug-30 sep (only surreptitious- or stand hunting), the 1 okay to the second Monday in Oct. and 1 jan-31 jan.

Only licensed hunting. County Board determines the annual hunting season for one or more periods of time on the second Monday in October 31 January.

9 § For hunting with firearms for moose, bear, Wolf, lake, it, deer, deer and mouflon, the following restrictions.
1. Elk may be hunted only during the time fr.o.m. one hour before sunrise to sunset.
2. Bears may be hunted only during the time fr.o.m. one hour before sunrise until two hours before sunset.
3. Wolf, lake, it, deer, deer and mouflon can be hunted only fr.o.m. one hour before sunrise t.o.m. one hour after sunset.
During the hour after sunset may hunt only run as stand hunting or stalking.
Comment : Other huntable species may be hunted throughout the day.
Hunting season and hunting season is the time / season in a year when hunting for a specific species is tillåten.Tiden determined by authorities, usually by the provincial government, in view of protecting the reproduction. Hunting outside of this time / season can be counted as hunting violations. The Hunting Act (SFS 1987:259) indicated that all wildlife is the inviolability. For inviolability game in peace not even their eggs and nests. This means that the game can be hunted only - that is captured or killed - if allowed by hunting legislation.

Hunting Ordinance § 28
28 § If any of bear carnivores, Wolf, wolverines or lynx attacking domestic animals or if there is reasonable cause to fear such an attack, measures may be taken to scare away the predator. Predators referred to in the first paragraph gets killed by a Domestic Animal owners or keepers to protect tamdjuret, 1. when the predator attacks and damages the tamdjuret or if it is obvious that such an attack is imminent, 2. if there is reasonable cause to fear an attack on tamdjuret and the killing is done in close proximity to the predator has attacked and injured or killed domestic animals, or 3. if the predator is within the fenced area designated for the care of tamdjuret and there is reasonable cause to fear an attack where. The predator will only be killed when it is not possible to scare off predator or in any other appropriate manner interrupt or deter attack. Measures under second paragraph 3 may, as regards lo, are also being taken to protect wildlife kept in wildlife reserves or similar facility under 41 a §. Regulation (2009:310).

28 a § Measures under 28 § second-fourth paragraphs may also be taken by another person acting on behalf of the owner or keeper to protect hunting dog used in Hunting, domestic animals which is within the enclosed area designated for the maintenance of tamdjuret or wild kept in Vilthägn or similar installation according to 41 a §. The same applies when the assignment is missing but implementing it has reasonable grounds to believe that such would have been if there had been the opportunity for the. Regulation (2009:310).
28 c § EPA to continuously assess the possibility of killing predators with the support of 28 § second-fourth paragraphs and 28 a § complicates maintenance of favorable conservation status of the species populations in its native range or otherwise used extensively. If EPA determines that this is the case the work immediately notify the Government. Regulation (2009:310).
28 d § Anyone in the cases referred to in the 2828 b §§ has killed an animal shall immediately notify the incident to the County Board. The animal may not be transferred without the consent of the provincial government. The County Board shall report the incident to the nearest police, if there is suspicion of a crime. Regulation (2013:149).
